Tamra had the privilege of photographing the amazing entry of baby Lily into this world.
Tamra awoke at 3:00am to hear that baby Lily was on her way. She had prepared for this day in advance and for some reason we knew it would be in the middle of the night. She got dressed, grabbed her photo gear, and was out the door in no time flat. She drove as quick as she could to McKinney Texas. I was back home in bed praying she would make it before the baby came and that the momma would have a safe delivery.
Tamra made it to McKinney, Tx on time but baby Lily had other plans. It was all day labor, with baby arriving in the late afternoon. She was well worth the wait though. She was healthy and pretty like her momma and sister. All of the family was so happy to finally see her.
Tamra and I love little babies. I always say it would be awesome to be a doctor or nurse in labor and delivery. Getting to see all of those amazing little babies and all of the emotions of the family. It’s truly a joyful time in a family’s life. As photographers we capture all of those emotions, the beauty, and amazingness of the greatest day in a parents life. The birth of their baby boy or girl.
