We had a great time with Chase and Jenna! These two are so in love and totally made for each other. Chase is a wrestler for OU (Oklahoma University) and Jenna is attending UCF (University of Central Florida). Watching the both of them interact, we could tell they have a lot of fun together and are very much in love. They both moved to Oklahoma to be close to each other while Chase attends OU but they do not live together. Which we think is totally awesome. We think that couples should wait until they are married to live together. Which doesn’t mean that you can’t spend a lot of your time together. Tamra and I did not live with each other before we got married and it was so amazing when after our wedding we got to go to our own home that we got together. Its just a great experiance sharing life together for the first time after being newly married. Totally worth the wait.
A few of the the things they love. They both are very involved in their church and have an amazing love for Christ. You can tell this in their actions not just in their words. They both love their puppy Boaz which is quite strong! I was trying to hold him while Tamra was photographing them by the river. He was dragging me all over the place while I was trying to shoot a few pictures as well. Lol! He is a great dog and is so much fun, and if you were wondering, his name comes for Boaz in the Bible. Something else that rocks is they both love to hunt and fish together. They both saltwater fish together when they are in Florida which is where their from. Also deer hunting and dove hunting is something else they share in together. Just an all around awesome couple.
We took these pictures at the Blue River near Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The river is beautiful with many waterfalls and large granite rocks, making for a great backdrop to Chase and Jenna’s engagement photos. We chose this location because of thier love for the outdoors. We styled this photo shoot with a lot of different things. We built the tent with wood scraps that I had laying around and man do we have a lot of wood scrap. I’m kind of a hoarder. Lol. I ripped 2×4’s down the middle and screwed them together at the top. Then we covered the tent with canvas drop cloth from Lowes . The rug for the tent is from Urban Outfitters in Dallas. We picked flowers along the way and hung them on the tent along with a framed cross stitch of flowers that we found at Goodwill to give the tent a little something extra. The rest of the items came from our house. Like the outdoor chairs from Lowes and a wooden spool that I found to make a table.
With our photo shoots its always an adventure. Often times long drives or crazy locations but that’s what we have to do to get the pictures that we take. It’s always worth it. Thanks Chase and Jenna for letting us take your pictures and we enjoyed spending time with you two. Also thanks for getting in the cold water and playing around, you guys are awesome!
