Basketball with Baker

Here are some of the photos from the basketball photo shoot that we did with our friend Linda and her son Christian Baker. We had an awesome time doing this shoot. It took some time to get the right shot and lighting but it was worth it. The last picture is Tamra on top of the goal so she could get Christain dunking the ball. It was pretty awesome because when we showed up there was a ladder just laying there saying, use me to climb that goal, do it! That ladder was an awesome gift from God……Hope you like, and we plan on doing more off camera flash sports shoots in the future.

What we have been up to. Straight up busyness!

Hope everyone is enjoying this awesome Fall weather here in southeastern Oklahoma, I know we are! We have been so busy here lately it has been hard to find time to blog. We have a lot of photography to post but just haven’t had time to do it :/ I’m working on getting one of our latest weddings posted right now which should be up tonight, maybe!?!

It’s hard to find time to do anything when your constantly looking and playing with a five month old awesome baby boy! I have A.D.D so much with him. I’ll tell Tamra, ok I’m going to The store and I’ll tell him “I’ll be back” and the next thing I know I’ve been playing with him for fifteen minutes! We all have so much fun with baby Finn. He’s at an awesome age to were he’ll just smile and laugh and make all kinds of funny noises.

We have been busy with photography here lately and that’s a good thing! It took a little while to get business rolling here in Durant since we moved but once it got started its been good. We also still travel to the Henryetta, Okmulgee, and Tulsa for photoshoots which makes for long days but it’s nice to have the business. I’m going to rap this up, because I’ve got more stuff to do but here are a few of the photos from Instagram that we have taken lately.

Our Little Three Ring Circus

I’m finally getting this posted. We did this around the 1st of August on the farm in Bokchito,Ok on a day that was extremely HOT! The idea for this shoot all started from us buying Finley a little dumbbell rattle from Zgallery in Plano! We thought it was so funny and we said we should do a shoot of him as the strongest man. Our wheels started turning and we finally decided to do a three ring circus photo shoot. Ethan would be rocket boy, Naomi would be trapeze artist/ snake handler, and Finley the strongest baby. We bought and made all kinds of things for this photo shoot. Tamra sewed the kids costumes and we both worked on making all of the little props.

The lighting setup was a 60″parabolic umbrella to camera left and a silver 43″ umbrella to camera right. We were going for lighting that mimicked the circus and this setup worked great.

To get these shots of Finn took alot of patience and speed. I worked on keeping him safe and looking towards the camera, while Tamra was ready to get the perfect shot. Ethan and Naomi did all of their own posing, which is crazy. We didn’t have to tell them anything! We are so happy with our little three ring circus. Tamra and I can’t wait until we can do another themed family shoot. We’ll post more shoots in the future of our little family, so check back soon. Feel free to ask questions and comment.
