This is the first photo shoot that we did with our newborn baby Finley Jack Horner. It was an amazing day for shooting as it was a sunny, warm day with a nice breeze. Finn did so well, he was out the whole time. We are so blessed by this new addition to our family.

These shots on the tree were done were the shade was good with just enough sun light peering through. My hubby John stood to the side, out of the frame, to help me keep him safe and help with posing. Finley just laid there so content with the warm breeze blowing over him.

This was done in the hay barn with the sun shining right on the front bales. The back bales were in the shadows though, making them a few stops darker. So we had to get out a speedlite and the pocketwizards. John stood to the side and held the speedlite so that it would graze the back bales providing the needed light and to show texture of the hay.

This is the last shot of the day and it took a few minutes to get. Our friend Billie Jean Fischer of Billie Jean’s Photography made this sweet little hat for him. We did this shoot at my Mammaw’s ranch in Bokchito, Oklahoma which is about 15 minutes from Durant.

I have more shoots to post so check back soon.

Baby Finley Jack Horner was born May 2, 2012, weighing 8lbs 12oz. Our family is so happy and he is doing so well. We took him on his first photo shoot yesterday and he is a natural, lol. We’re editing them now and we’ll try and have them posted soon.

Tamra is doing great and she loves her time with the baby so much. It’s awesome to see those little baby mannerisms again; we forgot what it’s like since our older kids are nine and eleven. The time in Durant hospital was such a good experience. The nurses are so great there and they make you feel so comfortable. They would all just come in and talk to us as they were doing their job. It was such a good experience that we didn’t want to leave, haha. It was nice being waited on and cared for, but it was good to come home.

Here is just a few pictures that we have taken while in the hospital and when he was sleeping with sis. Hope to get some more posted soon!

By John Horner,
We’re still here! We have recently moved to Durant, Oklahoma and we have been so busy. Tamra is pregnant with our third. She just has about four more weeks left! We have also bought a 1950s two story and Tamra and I have been working all the time fixing it up. We refinished the wood floors through out the entire house, tiled the kitchen, made concrete countertops, Tamra did the glass tile back splash herself, and many other thing. We have also been driving back and forth to the Okmulgee area to do photo shoots.

We have been so blessed by God here lately, it’s been amazing. I’ve also got a better job through the railroad on days with weekends off. So much better than midnights.

The scenery is so amazing down here and there are so many great places to have photo shoots. The whole family loves it down here and we’re closer to her family too.

We’ll start posting more on here now that we’re settled. If you want to see Tamra’s recent work head over to her Facebook page. Also if you have any questions or need to book a session feel free to give us a call, 918-430-8000. We are also still serving the Okmulgee area, as well as Durant, Denison, Madill, McKinney, Sherman, and any were in between. Have a great Easter weekend and Thank God for what he has done.
