Makayla shoot, theme princess and the pea

We recently did a photo shoot with Makayla Nerpel and she was amazing to work with. A very beautiful girl that photographs well.

We did this shoot in the woods in Okmulgee, Oklahoma when the evening light was shining through the trees just right. A lot of times that can spell trouble with hot spots, but we used it to our advantage by highlighting her face in certain shots. This makes for very dramatic lighting that is often done with studio flash or speedlights.

We had a great time working with Makayla and God has definitely blessed her with beauty and a great personality.

Our photography trip to Chicago 2011

We just got back from our trip to Chicago. We had an amazing time, I wish I was still there! There are so many great photo opportunities, it is almost impossible to see them all. Here are just some of the hundreds of pictures we took.

Finally got to take pics of the Chicago theater on our second trip. +

This is the fountain in millennium park. It has two towers that are waterfalls that change color and pictures every minute. The kids loved it when it changed into a face that spit water out of its mouth. It is just one of the sites that is a must see in Millennium park. +

This is a walk way in Millennium park that is way cool.

This is my daughter on the beach. The kids had an amazing time at the beach in Chicago. The waves were so much fun and the weather was perfect.
