We had an awesome time with this little family during Davis’s first year baby photo session! I have always wanted to do a skateboard baby photo shoot of our baby Finley but hadn’t ever got around to it. So along came this family. Tamra was busy planning Davis’s photo shoot and she found out that they were bring some new little van’s half cabs for him to wear. We both thought skateboard baby shoot!
I have been into skateboarding since I was a kid and even had a pair of half cabs when I was in high school. I got my son Ethan into skating and we used to skate and build ramps together but now we’re both just lame. Haha.
We looked all over Frisco Tx for some great locations for this type of shoot but none of them really turned out. So we rushed over to downtown McKinney since we had sessions there before and found some amazing spots at the last minute. Also we grabbed every board Ethan and I had and all of our nephews boards. The dad even brought some of his. We pretty much had a skate shop in the back of our vehical. haha.
