We’ve been a little busy here lately but we’ve had a lot of fun! Tamra and I found a Aloha vintage camper in South Carolina. So a week before we had to be in Florida for a wedding, we drove out there to buy it and bring it home. We have been looking for a canned ham camper trailer for a long time but nobody around Oklahoma wants to get rid of theirs. So we drove to South Carolina and back in three days. We are a little crazy sometimes but that’s how we roll. The both of us felt like zombies when we got back but it was totally worth it.
The next week we loaded up the kids and flew to Orlando, Florida to shoot Chase and Jenna’s awesome Wedding at the Harmony Golf Preserve. We were so blessed to photograph their amazing wedding and to see the love between these two. I will blog more from their wedding at a later time.
Next we took our three kids to Disney World and had a blast. It rained on us the first day at the Magic Kingdom but it didn’t stop us from having fun, it actually helped. Once the rain stopped, the rides started back up and the lines were short letting Ethan and Naomi ride some of the rides over and over. The next day we went to Epcot and had a pretty good time there but our two year old Finn was getting tired and so were we, so we headed back to the room for some good rest.
The next day we rented a car and headed to Cocoa Beach so the kids could play in the waves. It was a beautiful day and the two oldest kids played in the water while Finn threw sand all over everything including in my camera bag. After the beach we stopped in the huge Ron John Surf Shop to look around and find some cool souvenirs for our vintage camper. In all we had a great time at the beach but we were sad that we had to leave.
When we got back home we celebrated Naomi’s birthday! We had a little party at the house on her birthday and a couple of weeks later we celebrated again at Pretty Lovely Events in Durant, Oklahoma. The party was a black and white themed party and it turned out awesome! Everyone in attendance had a great time, thanks to Stephanie Gardner’s awesome venue. It’s crazy how fast Naomi is growing up. I wish she would slow down a little bit!
Getting back to business. We have two projects going on right now. One is fixing up and decorating the Aloha canned ham camper, which we love to work on. The other is reglazing our home’s wooden windows and then repainting them. This project is not so fun. So the both of us decided to work on the camper first and it has been awesome.
As you can see we have been a little busy but have had a ton of fun along the way. Actually we are already planning our next Disney trip, maybe in our new camper!
Well that’s all I’ve got because I have to get back to work, but here are just a few of the pics from the last month or so. Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend.
